Strömfors Outdoor needed an identity that captured both the ruggedness of the outdoors and the playful energy that makes being outside fun. The challenge was to create a distinctive and memorable visual language—something that stood out in a space where many outdoor brands take themselves too seriously.
At the core of the identity is a bold, angular logo—a tree with four legs, almost like it’s running. It draws from the iconic outdoor visual language while adding a surprising, lighthearted element that sparks curiosity. It suggests movement, adventure, and a sense of fun.
The identity extends beyond just the logo. It was designed to work across different applications, from wayfinding and maps to merchandise and event branding, maintaining a clear and cohesive presence. It also connects to Café Strömfors and The Escape from Svartholma swimrun race event, reinforcing the larger Strömfors Outdoor experience.
The result is an identity that is immediately recognizable, versatile, and full of character. It balances the rugged with the unexpected, making Strömfors Outdoor stand out—not just as a place, but as an experience.
