Before backpacks became the heart of Central Park Skiers, I designed and sewed a collection of smaller products. The very first collection debuted in 2017 at a Christmas pop-up shop in New York City, where I had my own booth and introduced CPS to the public for the first time.
That first lineup included shoulder and gear pouches, ski straps, wallets, and a few softgoods – simple but thoughtful products that captured the city–mountain balance I wanted the brand to stand for.
The NYC pop-up set the tone for everything that followed: gear built for hard use, shaped by alpine influence, and designed to connect people to skiing and the outdoors even in the middle of the city.
